Pedophilia website operator kidnapped Fresno girl, arrested while flying to Virginia, police say

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) A 40-year-old man from Virginia has been arrested for flying across the country to kidnap a 12-year-old Fresno girl.
Authorities say on Monday, December 14, they learned that the girl went missing and that she may have been convinced to run away with someone. At that point, the Central California Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force took over the investigation.
The ICAC discovered that 40-year-old Nathan Larson flew to Fresno from Virginia, went to the girl s home and convinced her to sneak out of the house and go with him back to Virginia.

December 19, 2020 - Denver law enforcement officials have arrested 40-year-old Nathan Daniel Larson of Catlett, Virginia. Larson is currently in the Denver County Jail facing a misdemeanor charge of harboring a minor. However, he is also facing felony charges in Fresno County for kidnapping, child abduction, soliciting child pornography from a minor and meeting a child for the intention of sex. Larson is scheduled to have a court hearing in Denver on December 24th. During this time, an extradition request will be made to transport Larson to the Fresno County Jail.
On the morning of Monday, December 14th, the Fresno County Sheriff’s Office and Fresno Police Department received a report of a missing 12-year-old Fresno girl. During the early portion
“This particular case is extremely disturbing,” Fresno County Sheriff Margaret Mims said.
Larson began communicating with the unnamed victim living in Fresno, California, mid-October through multiple social media platforms. He convinced the girl “through manipulation and grooming” to send him inappropriate images of herself, authorities said.
Eventually Larson flew from Virginia to Fresno, then about 2 a.m. Monday persuaded the girl to sneak out of her home, authorities said.
The two took a rideshare vehicle to the Fresno Airport, authorities said.
Larson made the girl wear a wig and told her to act as if she was disabled and unable to speak so she couldn’t converse with anyone as they boarded a plane, authorities said.

FRESNO, Calif. (WWBT) - A Virginia man is being held in Denver County jail and facing felony charges after the abduction of a 12-year-old girl in California.
The 12-year-old girl was reported missing on Dec. 14, according to a Saturday press conference held by the Fresno County Sheriff’s Office. During the investigation, detectives received information that she may have been coerced into running away with an older man who she met through social media in mid-October. The investigation pointed toward the girl flying cross-country to be with the man.
