The first time, authorities say he was kidnapping a 12-year-old Fresno girl he had been grooming for months.
But this time he was escorted by Fresno County Sheriff s deputies to face federal charges in the Central Valley. He is absolutely a predator and one of the worst we ve dealt with in this task force, says Fresno County Sheriff s Office Lt. Brandon Purcell.
Detectives extradited the 41-year-old from Denver on Thursday, which is where police initially found him and the abducted child.
Investigators learned Larson met the victim through social media in October, and flew to Fresno from Virginia in December.

It s all part of a California Air National Guard training exercise.
The sights and sounds of fighter jets taking off from the Fresno Air National Guard Base were hard to miss. Loud, yeah it is deafening. It s really neat the way each one takes off in a different way, said Gloria Long.

Power outages reported across Sacramento region, SMUD says
The storm, as advertised, has made its presence felt across the capital region Tuesday evening. Just after 11 p.m. about 76,000 customers of the Sacramento Municipal Utility District were without power, mostly due to power lines being knocked down by tree branches or the wind. A number of outages were being sparked by blowing transformers as well, according to the utility.
