WORCESTER Chances are, if you grew up listening to rock radio in Central Massachusetts in the last 20 years, you are very familiar with The Pike’s newest disc-jockey.
The local legendary radio personality is known by one name, but she often uses the courtesy title “Mistress” for good measure.
Mistress Carrie is the latest WAAF alum to rise out of the ashes of “The Only Station That Really Rocks” and to be resurrected on The Pike.
With an on-air persona that s part vamp, part vixen and all rock n roll goddess, this outspoken, omniscient orator of the rock ‘n’ roll airwaves will be the new “afternoon drive” disc-jockey, from 3-7 p.m., weekdays, on WWFX-FM 100.1 (100 FM The Pike), starting May 10. And Carrie couldn’t be happier.
