Two undefeated teams meet for the state Class A hockey championship tomorrow morning, as Penguins Cup champion Indiana and Flyers Cup champ West Chester East face off at the UPMC Sports Complex in Cranberry.
Indiana coach Jordan Haines offered his thoughts on the Vikings.
Haines said the pace of the game may be dictated by how closely the officials call the game with two aggressive teams.
After an undefeated regular season, Indiana’s march to the Penguins Cup opened with a 5-1 win over North Catholic, followed in the semifinals by a 4-0 shutout of Freeport. In the Final on Monday, Indiana topped Chartiers Valley, 3-2, holding off a third-period charge after taking a 3-0 lead in the second period.
