COVID-19 Update: UF campus’ positivity rate steady at 1% as affiliates get vaccinated There are about 20,000 vaccine appointments this week COVID-19 graphic generic Photo by Carley Noll | The Independent Florida Alligator The positivity rate of on-campus UF COVID-19 cases persists at a seven-day average of 1% for the fourth week in a row. And following the university’s mass vaccination of about 5,000 members of the campus community Monday, students have hope for a return to normalcy. Since March 29, 15 UF employees and 126 students have tested positive for the virus at on-campus locations. In the seven days before that, 12 employees and 176 students tested positive.
