Police identify Oakland man killed during crash in Augusta Saturday
Police: Patric Sherman died when his 2008 Yamaha was involved in a crash with an SUV on Civic Center Drive. Sherman s passenger, Venise Thompson, 51, also of Oakland, was injured and taken to Maine Medical Center in Portland in serious-but-stable condition.

AUGUSTA A 58-year-old Oakland man was killed Saturday night when his motorcycle was involved in a crash with an SUV on Civic Center Drive in Augusta.
Patric Sherman died while riding his 2008 Yamaha, according to Deputy Chief Kevin Lully of the Augusta Police Department.
Sherman’s passenger on the motorcycle, Venise Thompson, 51, also of Oakland, was injured and taken to Maine Medical Center in Portland in serious-but-stable condition, according to Augusta police Sgt. Eric Lloyd.

Police Academy aka Buker Community Center. Cop Camp at the JR. Police Academy will run from August 16th to the 22nd and is only available for children between the ages of 10 and 13.
