Oregon reports highest daily COVID case count since mid-January

Oregon administered an average of 33,933 COVID-19 vaccine doses per day in the past seven days.  The state has now administered a total of 1,369,371 doses of Pfizer, 1,153,611 doses of Moderna and 90,301 doses of Johnson & Johnson vaccines.  As of Wednesday, 1,065,266 Oregonians have completed a COVID-19 vaccine series. There are 1,635,625 who have had at least one dose. To date, 1,683,045 doses of Pfizer,1,411,700 doses of Moderna and 215,500 doses of Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 vaccines have been delivered to sites across Oregon. Hospitalizations There are 272 people hospitalized with COVID-19 in Oregon, which is 16 more than was reported Tuesday. Sixty-five COVID patients are in an intensive care unit, seven more than reported Tuesday.

Last week, an Oregon Health & Science University predicted the state would hit that 300-patient threshold by May.

Updated: 7:09 PM PST March 11, 2021 PORTLAND, Ore. The Oregon Health Authority (OHA) on Thursday reported 367 new COVID-19 cases in the state and 11 more deaths due to the virus. Oregon’s death toll is now 2,316 people. Vaccinations Oregon has administered a total of 1,235,071 doses of COVID-19 vaccines as of Thursday, including more than 445,000 second doses. 1,562,835 doses of vaccine have been delivered to sites across Oregon. New cases The number of known COVID-19 cases in Oregon is now up to 158,644. Multnomah County had the highest number of cases on Thursday with 62, followed by Clackamas County with 39.
