GUWAHATI: Union Home Minister Amit Shah is likely to visit Assam once again on February 11. This will be the second visit of the Union Home Minister to the election-bound Assam in the last fortnight.
As per sources, Amit Shah would be not only visiting here but also to the neighbouring state of West Bengal that goes to polls soon along with Assam.
The coronavirus death rate in Assam is 0.50 per cent. The NHS said that 1,347 COVID positive patients died due to other reasons. The number of active cases in the state currently stands at 333. So far, 66,03,122 tests have been conducted.
