GUWAHATI: Prime Minister Modi on the occasion of International Women s Day took the opportunity to promote women-made products. He announced that he had bought a traditional Assamese Gamosa made by women self-help groups.
It is to be mentioned that Narendra Modi frequently makes public appearances with a Gamosa draped over his neck.
Further, the PM took to his Twitter handle and wrote, You have seen me wear the Gamosa very often. It is extremely comfortable. Today, I bought a Gamosa made by various self-help groups of Kakatipapung Development Block.

The biography titled Amit Shah aru Agragami BJP was translated into Assamese from original English Amit Shah and the March of BJP by Assam Cabinet Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma. The original writers of the book were Anirban Ganguly and Shiwanand Dwivedi.
Assam Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal on Tuesday claimed that the people of the state are eagerly waiting to bring back the BJP-led government to power with over 100 seats in the 126-member Assembly.
