Monster Hunter fans are about to get another showcase with new details on both
Monster Hunter Rise and
Monster Hunter Stores 2: Wings of Ruin. Capcom has revealed that the next
Monster Hunter showcase will be taking place next week. As with the last one, we can expect information on the next major update for
Monster Hunter Rise, while what will be revealed about
Monster Hunter Stories 2 is a little more up in the air.
On Twitter today, Capcom revealed that the next
Monster Hunter Digital Event will be taking place on May 26th, 2021 at 7 AM PDT/10 AM EDT/3 PM BST. The digital event will go over

Fans have been eagerly awaiting news on the update for Monster Hunter Rise since its planned release at the end of April, and it seems we’re getting all that and more next week with a brand new digital event. Not only will we hear more information on Monster Hunter Rise but we’re also going to be seeing more information for Monster Hunter Stories 2, which fans have been equally excited over since it’s just a few months out. The stream will be on April 27 starting at 7AM PT and 10AM ET.

Monster Hunter Rise releases this March but Capcom has some surprises in store for loyal franchise fans. Rise marks the first main series entrant to the Nintendo Switch. Consequently, the game adopts many developments from the insanely famous Monster Hunter: World while adding several new game changes.
A return to form
The Nintendo Switch Monster Hunter game returns to the roots of the developers’ homeland as highlighted by its feudal era Japan-style setting. The soundtracks and maps featured in the trailer all scream Japanese influence. This is no doubt a bid into reclaiming Monster Hunter’s place at the top of the portable gaming scene. The previous MH game that captured the attention specifically of the Japanese players was Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate for the 3DS. There has since been a void left behind in the years that followed leaving many players with nothing to play for their daily commutes.
