Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin Collector’s Edition will be exclusive to GameStop and EB Games. Just like with the
Monster Hunter Rise Collector’s Edition, this package includes an amiibo, enamel pin, Deluxe Kit DLC pack, sticker pack, and the game itself. Preorders will be starting soon in the U.S. and Canada, with confirmation yet to be made for other territories. However, it is likely that countries such as the U.K. will receive this collector’s edition through the official Nintendo store.

There is currently a free demo for the upcoming Monster Hunter Rise on the Nintendo Switch eShop, and Nintendo has revealed that save data for the Rise demo on your Switch will allow you to claim a free item pack when the game launches on March 26.
The Monster Hunter Rise Item Pack includes 20 Mega Potions, 5 Pitfall Traps, 10 Energy Drinks, 5 Mega Demon Drugs, and 5 Mega Armorskins. All of these items will likely prove to be useful as Monster Hunter can often provide a serious challenge.

Monster Hunter Rise is coming on March 26, and with it, a trio of amiibo to celebrate the new collection of beasts to destroy. Two of the amiibo are only available as separate purchases, while a third can be found on its own, or as part of the Monster Hunter Rise Collector’s Edition.

The felynes have been a fixture of Monster Hunter ever since the first game debuted on the PlayStation 2 back in 2004, so it’s no surprise that we’re getting an amiibo for their latest incarnation. Beginning in Monster Hunter World, you could take a felyne into battle with you, and this is how they came to be known as Palicoes. Your kitty friend helps you in battle, tossing out heals and shouting words of encouragement while you hopefully don’t get your face eaten by a monster.
