Adair Co. Ambulance District mourns loss of staff member

The Adair County Ambulance District is mourning the loss of a beloved colleague.
Adam Bruner, 47, died on Sunday, April 18, after collapsing at the ACAD campus, said a release from the ambulance district.
Bruner began his emergency medical services career at ACAD in September of 1992 before leaving in 2007. He then returned to ACAD in 2014. Bruner was described as a talented, dedicated and committed EMS provider who was passionate about the quality of care he provided to his patients. The loss of Adam reminds us of how precious life is and the importance of treasuring the moments we have with our family and friends,” said a statement from ACAD CEO Larry Burton. “We are grateful for the efforts of our EMS brothers and sisters, and Northeast Regional Medical Center for their valiant efforts to save Adam.
