Chief Minister Tirath Singh Rawat on Wednesday congratulated teachers and education department officials in Uttarakhand for the state being ranked fourth in Niti Aayog s SDG India Index 2020-21
Rawat said rise to the fourth position carries a message for teachers and officials of the state education department to continue their efforts with the same dedication and catapult the state to the top position in the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) list in the coming years.

Uttarakhand to open 190 Atal Utkrisht Vidyalayas ANI | Updated: Jan 09, 2021 09:28 IST
Dehradun (Uttarakhand) [India], January 9 (ANI): Uttarakhand government on Friday issued a mandate to open190 schools (two in each block) in the state under Atal Utkrisht Vidyalaya.
As per the mandate, these 190 Atal Utkrisht Vidyalayas will be affiliated with the CBSE board and will open from the next academic session.
Announcing the scheme, Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat said the schools, in future, will give new dimensions to education, academic works and educational facilities in Uttarakhand. It will also help in preventing migration amidst situations caused by the Covid-19 pandemic and help in generating new employment opportunities, the Chief Minister added. (ANI)
