Consumer enterprises responding to heightened risk
environment by embracing the ACSC’s Essential Eight as the
de facto Australian cyber security
standard

pioneer Airlock Digital
today announced that consumer enterprises, including a
major Asia Pacific health & wellness group, are adopting
the Airlock allowlisting solution as a key part of the Essential
Eight cyber mitigation strategies to protect against
ransomware and other cyber attacks.

Application Control – the first of the Australian Cyber
Security Centre (ACSC) Essential Eight strategies
to mitigate cyber security incidents – to prevent
execution of unapproved and/or malicious programs like
ransomware.

Gladstone Road, Levin, suffered a substantial landslip in
February 2017. Since then, the slip has continued to be
active and as a result the residents have been subjected to
multiple, regular, short term road closures.
The heavy
rainfall event on Sunday 28 June has now brought down a
second major landslip on Gladstone Road. Due to the severity
of the second slip, Council has since decided to abandon
this at-risk section of Gladstone Road and fast track the
building of a new 1.4km alignment for Gladstone
Road.
The new route will bypass the most at-risk
sections of Gladstone Road. The project will build two new

Auckland Mayor Phil Goff says that while he strongly
supports the government’s objectives for water reform, he
does not believe the model proposed will benefit
Aucklanders.
“Aucklanders have invested heavily in
building up Watercare’s more than $10 billion worth of
assets, with a further $11 billion invested in water
infrastructure in our current 10-year Budget,” he
says.
“Control over those assets, and our ability to
ensure that Aucklanders’ needs are put first, is
undermined by the reform, which proposes that Auckland
Council could have less than 40 per cent of the
representation in the governance of the new entity

A new website for accessing tourism data, research and
reports is now available, making it easier to access
information about the tourism industry.
“The Tourism
Evidence and Insights Centre is the new home for tourism
data,” said Michael Webster, Manager Tourism Evidence and
Insights, Ministry of Business, Innovation & Employment
(MBIE).
The Tourism Evidence and Insights Centre

has been developed by MBIE in collaboration with
