Jun 9, 2021 If anyone deserves to be celebrating the end of the school year, it’s Mike Wimmer. The kid from Salisbury, North Carolina, just graduated from Concord Academy High School with a 5.45 GPA and was the valedictorian for the class of 2021. And a week before that? He graduated from Rowan-Cabarrus Community College with a 4.0 GPA and an associate degree. And did we mention he’s only 12 years old? Mike was dual enrolled and decided to take extra classes during the pandemic, finishing two years of high school and two years of college in just one year. His photographic memory and the fact that he’s a genius helped him get it all done, but he says he worked at a comfortable pace and still had plenty of time to play and socialize with other kids.
