FARGO Birthday and Christmas presents still wait for 32-year-old Brenda Kay Kartes at her parent’s West Fargo home. She vanished more than seven months ago, and her family is heartbroken and frustrated with the police investigation into her disappearance.
Of the dozens of missing person cases opened last year in Fargo, Brenda’s is the only one still without a resolution today.
Police searching for 55-year-old man missing from Salisbury

SALISBURY, Md. – Police in Maryland are searching for a 55-year-old man missing from Salisbury.
Salisbury Police say Dennis Williams was last seen at around 3 p.m. Monday, February 1st, leaving his residence in the 500 block of West Road. He was last seen wearing a black leather jacket, blue jeans, brown boots, and was likely wearing glasses. We’re told he is 5’7″ and approximately 225 pounds.
Police say Williams is known to frequent areas on the west side of Salisbury, including W. Isabella Street and Lake Street.
Williams is considered a critically missing person due to medical diagnoses.

TOPEKA Bernard Francis Mulanax, 40, has not been seen in more than a decade since he went missing in northeast Kansas.
Mulanax failed to appear at a Dec. 26, 2009, doctor’s appointment in Manhattan. His roommates speculated he might have traveled to Topeka or an American Indian reservation in South Dakota.
Few details are available in this case.
Mulanax is 6 foot, 230 pounds, and one of three American Indians in Kansas who have been reported missing on the National Missing and Unidentified Persons System.
