MUSKOGEE, Okla. â Residents at a Muskogee apartment complex are upset after having no gas for more than three weeks.
âI went to turn on the water and it was just very cold, said Adrian Jones.
Itâs been more than three weeks since Jones has had hot water in his apartment. He lives at the Village East Apartments in Muskogee, where the gas has been shut off since June 13 after tenants smelled gas. As management works to fix the problem, residents are left with cold water.

“I guess you guys have got to think about that.” While he did not name specific businesses, Gallagher said some firms his company worked with had been moving out of Hamilton “because the cost is becoming too great”. Gallagher said allowing firms to know the value of development contributions they would have to pay before building would help their situation. This was queried by Cr Ryan Hamilton and, in reply, the company’s commercial property manager Christine Toy expanded on her boss’ earlier comments. She said the company was hoping to expand in Hamilton, however that would mean building outside the industrial-zoned land on Kahikatea Drive, where they were currently based.
