Atlantic City Police Investigating Assault of City Councilman Cops in Atlantic City say a city councilman was assaulted Thursday night. According to the Atlantic City Police Department, at about 10:45 PM, their officers responded to a parking lot near the intersection of Florida and Atlantic Avenues for the report of an assault. Morshed was taken to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center-City Division for treatment.
