It appears that cops in Middle Township have had their hands full recently, including a case of a person being shot with a nail gun, another whacked with a 2X4, and another case of a man being chased by a car full of people. All told, two people have been charged with attempted murder and four others are facing aggravated assault and other charges. In the first case, Middle Township cops responded to Cape Regional Medical Center on Thursday, April 15th, after they received word that a man had been shot in the chest with a nail gun. The victim, 58-year-old Thomas Stansbury of Villas, was later taken to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center in Atlantic City for further treatment.
