More than one person from Barnegat expressed an interest in setting up a vigil for the young boy who would have been seven years old on May 1. For Atlantic Heights resident Steve Helewa, Corey s passing literally hit home. He recalled meeting the young boy and his father in the complex where he lives.
“I haven t been able to sleep because of this,” said Helewa. “I knew that we needed to do something together as a community.”
