MIC Announces Results of Voting at Special Meeting of Shareholders

Macquarie Infrastructure Corporation (NYSE: MIC) today announced the approval of its proposed plan of merger at a Special Meeting of Shareholders of the Company conducted on May 6, 2021.
At the Special Meeting, shareholders voted overwhelmingly to approve a plan of merger that could result in the reorganization of the Company into a listed limited liability company treated as a partnership for tax purposes. The proposal received support from 99.6% (including abstentions) of the shareholders who voted.

Donald C. Kane, 94, of Lewes passed away at Beebe Medical Center Thursday, May 6, 2021. Mr. Kane was born in Summit Bridge, Sept. 4, 1926, son of the late George Theodore and Margaret Deputy Clark Kane. He was also preceded in death by his two brothers, George T. Kane Jr. and Roland H. Kane.
Mr. Kane attended A. I. duPont High School, and when he became 17 years old, he enlisted in the U.S. Navy, and served in the Pacific theatre during WWII. He was honorably discharged with the rank of petty officer AMM2C in 1946. Following the military, he returned home and joined his father George T. Kane Sr., and his brother Roland H. Kane, in the Kane’s Texaco family business located at Prices Corner in Wilmington. While working for the family business, Donald formed a keen interest in planes, and earned his required aviation licenses and ratings which would lead him to his next career as a corporate pilot for Atlantic Aviation in 1960. (Aviation Pros/Atlantic Aviation) Renewable diesel will be utilized primarily in ground support equipment, operated by Atlantic Aviation and its customers. Atlantic Aviation announced the introduction of renewable diesel and the elimination of fossil-based diesel at its Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) fixed base operation. The change is part of Atlantic Aviation’s commitment to increasing sustainability in the aviation industry.
‘’Effective this month, we are replacing 100 percent of our fossil-based diesel fuel with renewable diesel,’’ said Steve Hirschfeld, senior vice president for Atlantic Aviation. “The change will reduce carbon emissions on the airport by over eight million pounds annually, or the equivalent of that produced by approximately 795 automobiles.”
