The year was 1995 and the first installment in Capcom s Versus series, Marvel Super Heroes, dropped and offered players the chance to assume control of characters that would eventually become
much more popular. The game was intriguing and would set the stage for an iconic branch of the gaming genre, but the standards for fighting games were. very, very different than those of today.
Shuma-Gorath was one of the title s 10 selectable characters, and was equipped with a variety of rush down attacks and command grabs. Characters in Marvel Super Heroes would gain access to the Infinity Stones during play, and if Shuma paired a few of his moves with the Time Stone, he could actually cause a glitch that would render his foe helpless across rounds.

Fighting game players came across a curious discovery recently after some users found that Twitch had removed the streaming category for Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 that immediately turned some heads.
Alongside the previous games in the big crossover series, Twitch had also added a new category for the long-requested Marvel vs. Capcom 4.
Many took to Twitter and other social media sites with the potentially massive find, but it doesn t ultimately seem like it s time to bust out the party supplies yet.

Capcom Fighting All-Stars was a game that was being developed by ex-SNK employees who joined Capcom in the early 2000s who wanted to make a quick impression on the rest of the company. To save time, 3D assets from the development of the cancelled Capcom vs. SNK 3 who imported into Capcom Fighting All-Stars. Inevitably, this idea would also be scrapped due to numerous issues.
Uniquely, there were actually plans to incorporate finishing moves into Capcom Fighting All-Stars. These would ve been similar to Mortal Kombat s Fatality system, though without the gore.
