ROSENBERG – Rosenberg police said there was a deadly officer-involved shooting Friday evening.
“The dispatch center received a call for service referencing a male that is said to have been discharging a firearm at individuals at the laundromat here in the 1700 block of 8th street,” said Rosenberg Police Chief Jonathan White.
Witnesses said there was a man and a woman fighting around 6:15 p.m. inside the washeteria in the 1700 block of 8th street. Then witnesses said the situation continued to escalate.
According to witnesses, the man was shouting at a woman inside the washeteria. They believe the woman was the man’s girlfriend. Then, witnesses said the man had a gun and threatened to kill the woman and eventually others inside.

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WBRC) - Birmingham Police confirmed an officer-involved shooting Thursday afternoon in Fairfield.
It happened in the 5300 block of Acadia Terrace in Fairfield.
Birmingham Police Chief Patrick Smith said around 3:20 p.m. investigators with the BPD Tactical precinct and officers with the BPD Narcotics Unit tried to serve a drug warrant on a suspect.
Smith said as officers were getting out of their cars, before they could even stage, the person fired several rounds at officers and officers returned fire striking the person.

COLORADO SPRINGS â Colorado Springs Police say they suspect that led state troopers and local officers on a chase up I-25 on Monday has died.
The Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD) was not involved in the incident but is investigating it.
The situation began with State Patrol investigating a robbery in Pueblo around 5 p.m. Monday and turned into a pursuit when the suspect fled north up I-25. The pursuit ended near Woodmen Road on I-25 in Colorado Springs after stop sticks were deployed and a state trooper used a patrol vehicle to ram and disable the suspect vehicle.

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) â The alleged accomplice in the officer-involved shooting and hostage situation on April 8, 2021, has been granted bond and pre-trial release to Missouri by the Circuit Court for the Second Judicial Circuit in Leon County.
Valerie Hatton is charged with murder, armed robbery, burglary and kidnapping for a total of $50,000 in bonds.
The attorney for 28-year-old Hatton, assistant public defender John Knowles, entered the not guilty plea on her behalf Monday, April 12.
Hatton is required to check in by phone weekly to the Pre-trial Services Office and prohibited from possessing any weapons.

A North Carolina deputy shot and killed a man while law enforcement officers executed a search warrant at his residence in Elizabeth City on Wednesday morning, officials said.
Andrew Brown Jr. was killed after a search warrant was served by deputies from the Pasquotank County Sheriff’s Office at about 8:30 a.m. in a residential neighborhood, Sheriff Tommy Wooten II told reporters during a press briefing.
According to a report from WAVY-TV 10 News, Brown was shot in his car.
