Dr. Mehmet Oz has reunited with a man whose life he saved when he suffered a heart attack at an airport in New Jersey. The man was in baggage claim at the Newark Liberty International Airport when the heart attack occurred. Officials say Officer Jeffrey Croissant was on patrol and found the man was not breathing and did not have a pulse. He called for back-up and began CPR on the man.
Dr. Oz was returning home from Florida when he saw the man needed help. Officials say Dr. Oz and several officers flipped the man over onto his back, began chest compressions, and used a defibrillator to revive him. The man says he is now feeling 100% and is thankful Dr. Oz was there to help revive him.
The incident happened earlier this month in Terminal C at around 11 p.m.
Port Authority Police say Officer Jeffrey Croissant was on patrol when he witnessed a man fall to the floor in the baggage claim area.
Dr. Mehmet Oz helped save the life of a man who had gone into cardiac arrest and collapsed at Newark Liberty International Airport in New Jersey.
Officer Croissant rushed to the man who was not breathing and did not have a pulse, according to authorities. He then called for back-up immediately and began CPR on the man.
Dr. Oz just happened to be returning home from Florida when his daughter yelled to get her dad s attention.

Dr. Oz saved a man s life after he suffered a heart attack at the airport. They reunited on Good Day New York.
NEW JERSEY - A man who went into cardiac arrest at Newark Liberty International Airport was saved due to quick work by Port Authority Police Officers and Dr. Mehmet Oz, who just happened to be in the airport at the same time.
It happened at approximately 11:07 p.m. Monday night in the baggage claim area of Terminal C. Oz s daughter, Arabella, alerted him to the situation and he ran over.
