India News: NEW DELHI: All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) has allowed colleges to offer engineering degree in as many as eight regional Indian lang.

The All India Council For Technical Education (AICTE) is offering around 2,500 virtual internships through The Urban Learning Internship Program (TULIP). Interested candidates can apply through the website-
internship.aicte-india.org, the application process will be closed on May 10.Â
The diploma or graduation students with excellent communication skills in Hindi and English can apply for the internship programme. The interns will get a monthly stipend of Rs 12,000.Â
The Urban Learning Internship Program was launched in 2020, a joint effort of the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs (MoHUA). It offers internships for upto one year to fresh graduates, students with undergraduate degrees can apply for internships within 18 months from their date of completion of graduation.Â

The All India Council For Technical Education (AICTE) will adopt Atal Tinkering Labs (ATLs) established under NITI Ayog’s Atal Innovation Mission (AIM), an official statement said.
On the occasion of Dr. BR Ambedkar Jayanti, the AICTE and the AIM announced a strategic collaboration to empower Atal Tinkering Labs established at schools across the country. AICTE’s Institution’s Innovation Councils (IICs) will be connected with Atal Tinkering Labs under this initiative.
“The partnership offers to begin with to connect around 7200+ Atal Tinkering Labs (ATLs) established in schools with 2500+ Institution’s Innovation Councils (IICs) functioning in higher educational institutions spread across all the states and UTs,” the NITI Ayog said.

All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) issued a revised guideline and took a U-Turn after stating that Class 12 students no longer need to opt for physics and mathematics for Pursuing Engineering. They issued an Official statement by withdrawing the Approval Process Handbook 2021-22. It said, It is to inform all concerned that Approval process Handbook 2021-22 has been withdrawn for a short while and will be placed again on AICTE site in a day or two .
