Community Project Planner Charlene Kissick tells us that that was actually a good thing. “I felt like I got a lot of different voices and ideas, even when it wasn’t the general consensus of the group,” says Kissick, “I felt confident about people sharing their ideas.” She says that in traditional face to face meetings many people may shy away from having their voice heard. “When you go to a public session, I think there are a lot of people that want to come and hear the information but maybe aren’t up to asking a question. What the virtual setting did was give an opportunity for chat.”
