BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KERO) â The Kern High School District is working on a plan to bring some students back to campus as early as the first week of March.
During a special board of trustees meeting held Wednesday, Superintendent Dr. Bryon Schaefer discussed the district s Safe Schools for All Safety Review, which if approved by the state will layout how students could return to campus.
If the state approves the plan, the board discussed bringing back students with disabilities and English learners. Students that are considered at risk/high-need will also be brought back, including foster/homeless youth and CTEC/ROC.
