296 New COVID-19 Cases in Maine and One New Death
According to the Maine CDC s Monday update, 514,075 Mainers have received the first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine and 380,211 are fully vaccinated. That equates to approximately 34% of Mainers that are fully vaccinated and 46% of Mainers that have received the first of two doses of the vaccine.
The cumulative number of coronavirus (COVID-19) cases in Maine is now at 54,256 an increase of 296 since Sunday. 41,114 of those cases are confirmed while 13,142 are deemed probable.
There was one additional death reported of an individual with COVID-19 bringing the total number of deaths to 751. 1,733 patients have had to be hospitalized at some point. 75 are currently hospitalized with 29 in intensive care and 13 on a ventilator.
