Other conditions include the presentation of Certificate of Occupancy signed by the state governor and two passport photographs each of the applicant and surety to the Registrar of the court.

APC convention must adopt new manifesto for 2023 campaigns — Chieftain

In a statement titled, “Nigerian Politics and Question of National Unity”, on Sunday in Abuja, Lukman said adopting a new manifesto and skillfully handling negotiations for the emergence of a presidential candidate based on strategic consideration of winning the votes of Nigerians would help the party to retain power in 2023.

APC Releases Timetable, Guidelines for July 31 Ward Congresses

Adedayo Akinwale The All Progressives Congress (APC) has released the schedule of activities and guidelines for the conduct of its ward congresses, scheduled for Saturday July 31, 2021. The National Secretary of the APC Caretaker/Extraordinary Convention Planning Committee, Senator John Akpanudoedehe, in a statement yesterday in Abuja, said the purchase of nomination forms for ward, local government/area councils and state congresses will take place from July 19 to August 28. He said screening of aspirants for the ward party positions would hold from July 29 to July 30, while ward congresses would hold July 31. Appeals arising from ward congresses will hold from August 2 to August 7.

APC Chairmanship: Serving, Former North-west Govs Ganging up against Me, Says Yari

Adedayo Akinwale Former Governor of Zamfara State, Abdulaziz Yari, has alleged that some serving and former governors of the North-west states are ganging up to jeopardise his chairmanship aspiration in order to ensure that one of them becomes either president or vice president in 2023. Yari, who is one of those who have signified intention to become the national chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), said he is capable of leading the party to victory in 2023. The former governor, while speaking with journalists yesterday in Abuja, however, said he was not disturbed about speculations of the gang-up of his serving and former colleagues.
