That s the theory behind a new initiative launched by Shipston company Meg Rivers Bakers of Happiness, which aims to offer a delicious token of appreciation free to deserving recipients.
Calling their campaign Random Acts of Cakeness, the team at Meg Rivers Bakers launched the scheme last month â but are looking for

Warwickshire farm looks for help to care for its 140 animals

ALPACAS, llamas and rare breeds of pigs and sheep are just some of the 140 animals that might have to be sold because coronavirus has closed their farm to the public.
Middle England Farm, which is run by married couple Tom and Andie Stevens-Moore, has â like many businesses â suffered the worst 12 months ever, with revenue now non-existent.

The farm is situated on the Redditch Road, near Henley, and is usually gearing up for visitors this time of year but because of Covid, the gates are closed to the public who provide the income stream that pays for the animalsâ food and medical bills.

A NEW play area and a cycle training track are being built on Stratfordâs Recreation Ground with the aim of getting children more active.
Stratford District Council said an unused part of the Rec, close to the Tramway footpath, would be transformed and ready for use by the end of March.
The play area will be aimed at children aged between seven and 14, and will be built out of wood. It will include a 30m zipwire, a group swing, a climbing unit with a bridge, totem poles, and a fast âembankment slideâ which can be accessed from the Tramway.
Reopening of Southam to Leamington road could be delayed by HS2 work

WORK on the HS2 project could delay the reopening of a major Warwickshire road by almost a year.
Councillors in both the Stratford and Warwick districts are demanding answers from HS2 Ltd after it revealed potential revisions to its construction work programme, which would impact the A425 between Leamington and Southam.
The road was originally shut in September 2020 and was due to re-open in June this year but HS2 Ltd and its contractors have informed local authorities that the A425 Southam Road closure could be delayed by almost a year.
