RAWALPINDI: Dr Henry Kissinger stayed on in Nathiagali today [July 9] cancelling his day’s programme in Rawalpindi which included a round of talks with President Yahya Khan, a visit to the GHQ and dinner arranged for him by the President. General Abdul Hamid Khan, Deputy Chief Martial Law Administrator and Chief of Staff, Pakistan Army, called on Dr Kissinger and had lunch with him at Nathiagali. An official handout this evening [July 9} said that Dr Kissinger was “slightly indisposed”. He had left Rawalpindi early this morning for Nathiagali, accompanied by the Foreign Secre­tary, Mr Sultan Mohammad Khan, the handout said. His departure from here for Paris which was originally scheduled for tomorrow afternoon is also said to be uncertain now. He had arrived here yesterday at noon and had a long session of talks with President Yahya Khan in the evening. He also stayed for dinner with the President.
