Independent staff report BREWSTER  Fairless High School Student Council will host the second annual Mother s Day 5K walk/run on May 8. Working with the Stark County Health Department and Fairless administrators, Student Council developed plans for an on-site race beginning at the high school, 11885 Navarre Road. Starting times will be staggered beginning at 9 a.m.  Participants also have the option to participate in a virtual event. Proceeds from the event will be divided between Student Council and Fairless Helping Fairless and the Fairless Alumni group. The family-friendly 3.1-mile walk/run begins at the Barry Askren Memorial Track and will travel through the village of Brewster. The event is designed for walkers and runners.
