KINGSTON While field trips haven’t been a high priority for local elementary students who are learning through cohorted in-person and digital classrooms this fall due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Beyond Classrooms Kingston has adapted with its fall remote digital program.
“The challenge this year has been with the COVID-19 pandemic. Classes, although back in school, they’re not allowed to leave for field trips,” Karla Tynski, Beyond Classrooms Kingston co-ordinator, said. “So we’re unable to do what we normally do, which is to bring the classroom to the museum or gallery.
