The Malta Diner, a family owned restaurant that has been in business for over 25 years, posted the heavy-hearted  announcement on their Facebook page on Sunday.  They explained to their loyal customers that the lack of business and staffing challenges have forced them to shut down until further notice. Hoping that more people feel confident in the spring, they re not ruling out reopening in a few months.

The National Weather Service issues what they call a Hazardous Weather Outlook several days before a storms arrival.
