Another 2021 concert is off the calendar for Summerfest’s renovated American Family Insurance Amphitheater.
Halsey and Khalid already pulled the plug on their Summerfest 2021 headliner shows earlier this year. Now, Santana and Earth, Wind & Fire have pushed their 30-date “Miraculous Supernatural” North American tour to 2022.
The Rock and Roll Hall of Famers were supposed to tour last summer, before the COVID-19 pandemic forced nearly every artist to get off the road. The American Family Insurance Amphitheater stop had been scheduled for the night before the Democratic National Convention in Milwaukee, which also never materialized.
The Milwaukee stop was rescheduled for July 11, 2021. But with the tour pushed off yet another year, Santana and Earth, Wind and Fire will now play the Milwaukee amphitheater on July 10, 2022.
RE-ANNOUNCED: @davematthewsbnd to headline the @AmFamAmp on Wednesday, September 15th.
All online ticket orders, including those purchased previously or tickets bought in the future, include a digital ticket for Summerfest 2021, valid for any of the nine days of the festival. Fans who previously purchased tickets in person at the Summerfest Box Office, should return to the same location to receive one general admission Summerfest 2021 ticket. Please visit AmFamAmp.com for Box Office hours.
Refunds will be available from the original point of purchase for 30 days from the announcement of the rescheduled date.
Ticket purchasers will receive an email from Ticketmaster instructing them on securing a refund, if they cannot attend the rescheduled date.
Kane Brown announces 35-city Blessed & Free Tour, with a Milwaukee stop Jan. 20
Even as the pandemic continues, major concerts are planning a comeback.
Just a day after Eric Church announced an extensive tour kicking off this fall with two shows at the Resch Center in Green Bay in March fellow country superstar Kane Brown has announced his own 35-city tour kicking off Oct. 1.
Brown will be the first country artist to play all 29 NBA arenas on a single tour. Dubbed the Blessed & Free Tour, with special guests Chase Rice and Reckless Road, the tour will stop at the Milwaukee Bucks Fiserv Forum Jan. 20.
When the COVID-19 pandemic began in 2020, one of the first musical artists people turned to for hope was Andrea Bocelli.
The opera great s online concert on Easter last year from the Duomo cathedral in Milan was watched live by 2.8 million people, and has since been seen more than 42 million times on YouTube.
Bocelli has offered other online and television appearances during the pandemic. But now he s getting ready to perform for live audiences.
And the first stop of his first North American tour since the pandemic began will be at Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee, on Oct. 13. The 21-city trek will wrap up Dec. 19 in Orlando, Florida.
