Ynion organized a recent forum in Buenavista town as he spearheads a private sector initiative to establish an economic zone in the island province that is highly dependent on the city and province of Iloilo. “Guimaras cannot just rely on the mango industry or tourism, especially during this time of pandemic,” Ynion told Manila Bulletin. “Guimaras needs something it can export and bring in money for local residents,” Ynion added.
