Vietnamese honey included in US list of anti-dumping investigations

Friday, 17:02, 30/04/2021 VOV.VN - The Ministry of Industry and Trade s Trade Defence Department has stated that it received information regarding the US Department of Commerce receiving documents requesting anti-dumping investigations for honey products originating from Argentina, Brazil, India, Ukraine, and Vietnam. The plaintiffs in this case are the American Honey Producers Association and the Sioux Honey Association who requested that the US Department of Commerce (DOC) investigate raw honey products classified under HS code 0409.00, with businesses required to check against HS codes when exporting American products. The timeframe for anti-dumping investigations proposed by the plaintiffs is from October 1, 2020, to March 31, 2021, whilst the damage investigation period will be from January 1, 2018.
