More than 100 bucking bulls thrilled visitors Saturday night at the Taylor Telecom Arena at the Expo Center of Taylor County. This was the first time for American Bucking Bull, Inc., to organize an event at the new arena and the second and final night for the ABBI Spring Fling.
Riders and bulls competed in the Professional Bull Riders event. Not only did the riders earn points for their rides, but the bulls scored too. The top-winning bulls brought home almost $10,000 in each of three classes for their stock contractors.
Judges score the bulls on a scale of 1-25 points, and the animal is rated on buck, kick, spin, intensity and degree of difficulty. If you want to see more, the next ABBI event in the Big Country will be April 3 in Stephenville.
