A PATCH repair job has been completed on the roof of the Martins Ferry City Building, but a more permanent repair is in the works. A blue tarp continues to cover the area of brick facade that still needs repaired.
MARTINS FERRY Work to patch the municipal building’s roof was recently completed in Martins Ferry, but is only a temporary fix, according to the city’s mayor.
Back in September, chunks of the building’s facade fell off into a parking area below. No one was injured in the incident, but city officials had to determine the best course of action.
