Okay, let s give this another go. I successfully did it once, so surely I can do it again. Are you a smoker who has quit, or been pondering the idea of quitting?
Let s start by saying that I m dumb for starting to smoke again. A couple of years ago, I managed to quit smoking. How did I do it? I Took the route of vaping, as going cold turkey wasn t something that would work for me. So I started vaping and honestly, I didn t really like it, but that was okay because the idea is to stop altogether at some point right?
We ve all been there over the past few years. A storm has arrived, powerful wind gusts are blowing outside and then the power suddenly goes off. For the residents of Maine, that scenario seems like it s become an all-too-common occurrence. But have the frequency of power outages in Maine been overblown or is this a sign of a growing problem?

According to a new study from MROelectic, it s a larger problem than even residents of Maine may realize. Despite having one of the smallest populations in the United States, the study shows that Maine residents have seen the highest frequency of power outages in the nation from 2015 through 2019. The average Maine resident sees nearly 4 power outages per year. The next closest state, West Virginia, sees only 3 per resident. And it s not a New England thing, Maine is only state in the northeast in the top 10.

As reported by CBS News, Lake Superior State University originally started the Cannabis Center of Excellence in 2019 to scientifically analyze and determine the safety of cannabis products. They re the first in the nation to do so. And now, they re expanding that program by offering a scholarship.

Here in Iowa, the Iowa Department of Public Health reports (as of Wed, April 7, 2021) 5,835 deaths in the state, up 337 from a month ago, and 383,337 people testing positive, an increase of just over 19,000 from March. All possibly attributed to that fact that we live in the #1 state in the U.S. with the fewest coronavirus restrictions that directly correlates to the 2nd highest Covid-19 death rate.
