Contact tracing at two schools with COVID

Social Share Contact tracing commenced at two schools where one student each tested positive for COVID-19 last Friday. These are the Ann Hill School and Princess Margaret Secondary School, which are linked to one of the clusters public health officials are battling. In a release on Sunday night, the Ministry of Education Technological and Vocational Training said: “Contact tracing has started for persons of the Princess Margaret Secondary school. All persons have tested negative. The school was cleaned and sanitised this weekend. Online teaching will be held on Monday 28th and school should resume to regular schedule on Tuesday 29th June.

Face-to-face classes resume at Blackman & Gollop Primary School tommorow

May 5, 2021 Parents and Guardians of students of the Blackman & Gollop Primary School are informed that work has been completed at the school to arrange all classes.  The Barbados Defence Force, a private contractor, teachers and parents worked together today to ensure that classes were set up and equipment cleaned and replaced in the respective classrooms. Face-to-face instruction will therefore commence for the Class 3 and 4 students from tomorrow, Thursday, May 6, 2021.  Teachers will contact Class 3 students for further direction.
