Unemployed Kashmiri youths getting free vocational training through Himayat under Centre s DDU-GKY scheme ANI | Updated: Feb 18, 2021 23:59 IST Anantnag (Jammu and Kashmir) [India], February 18 (ANI): The free vocational training given to youth in Jammu and Kashmir under the Himayat Free Placement-Linked Skill Training Programme has opened up opportunities for the youth in the region. The programme that is part of the Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Grameen Kaushalya Yojana (DDU-GKY) aims at reducing the unemployment rate in Jammu and Kashmir and is part of the Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Grameen Kaushalya Yojana (DDU-GKY). Saba, centre head, Anantnag training centre, told ANI: Under the program launched by the Centre and the Jammu and Kashmir administration, we provide free of cost training to students who had to leave their studies incomplete midway and for those who are unemployed.
