Longboat, 84, a Mohawk from Six Nations of the Grand River, is one of 12 members of the provinceâs Eldersâ Council, which is the 2020 recipient of the Guthrie Award.

Greater Sudbury Police have laid several child pornography-related charges against a 44-year-old woman following an investigation by members of their Internet Child Exploitation, or ICE, and Computer Forensics units.
Tina Lashbrook faces two counts each of accessing child pornography, possessing child pornography and distributing child pornography. She appeared in bail court in Sudbury on Thursday.

ICE and computers forensics officers, assisted by the GSPS Emergency Response and Intelligence units, executed a search warrant at a Greater Sudbury resident on Thursday and Lashbrook was arrested.
