Lagos Govt Receives COVID-19 Vaccines

Channels Television   Updated March 9, 2021 The Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Health, Oreoluwa Finnih, shared a photo of the delivery of the vaccines on Twitter.   The Lagos State government has received doses of the Oxford-AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccines from the Federal Government. Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu disclosed this on Tuesday at an event held at Police College in Ikeja, but he did not reveal the figure of vaccine doses delivered to the state. The event was organised by the Ministry of Women Affairs and Poverty Alleviation to commemorate the 2021 International Women’s Day. In his remarks, Governor Sanwo-Olu revealed that the state government received the vaccines at about 4am on Tuesday, noting that they have been kept in a safe place.
