Image Source: IANS News Panaji, Jan 29 : The Goa government has already spent Rs 439 crores on raising infrastructure for the proposed 36th National Games, state sports Minister Manohar Ajgaonkar has said, adding that a date for hosting the event which has been postponed on a number of occasions in the past has not yet been finalised. The state government has spent an amount of Rs 439 crore on creation of infrastructure, as of date, Ajgaonkar told the Goa legislative assembly in a written reply tabled on Friday. He also said that Rs 97.80 crores had already been sanctioned and released by the central government for creation of infrastructure and another instalment of Rs 69.85 crores was also expected from the Centre.
