No new information was released this week in the fatal shooting of a Black man by a Clark County sheriff’s deputy during a Feb. 4 traffic stop in Hazel Dell.
Jenoah Donald, 30, died early Feb. 12 after his family had him removed from life support the day prior.
The Vancouver Police Department which is handling the release of information and leading the shooting investigation said Friday the investigation is continuing, and there was no new information to release at this time.

Being the only Black person in the room is nothing new to Annette Nettles, pastor of Love at the Cross, a small congregation in Washougal.
Nettles’ own relatives are often the only Black faces she sees as she looks out across her tiny flock of 21 members.
It’s not that Nettles is unaware of the differences between herself and her white, mostly older congregants. It’s that she feels called to overcome those differences and help others see how to overcome them, too.

Share: The Clark County Medical Examiner’s Office sought the public’s help in identifying a person found dead on Jan. 18 in Vancouver. He was identified as Anthony Kent Michel, 51.
The Clark County Medical Examiner’s Office on Tuesday identified a man found unresponsive Jan. 18 on a Vancouver road as Anthony Kent Michel, 51.
Michel, of Vancouver, died Jan. 19. His cause and manner of death are pending, according to the medical examiner’s office.
The death investigation involves an individual who was located around 11 a.m. in the 7000 block of Northeast Andresen Road. The man was pronounced dead at PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center the next day.
