Amyloidosis) is a Phase I/IIa trial to evaluate the safety and toxicity of TLX66 as the sole bone marrow conditioning agent prior to autologous hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (HSCT) in patients with AL amyloidosis.
1 The TRALA trial was sponsored by University Hospital Southampton in Southampton U.K. and run across four centres: Southampton, University College Hospital London, Royal Free Hospital London, and Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham. All study data were reviewed by the trial s Independent Data Monitoring Committee (IDMC).
Nurses can for the first time become members of the Institute of Psychosexual Medicine, after the organisation voted to accept health professionals other than doctors.
Since 2015, nurses and allied health professionals have been allowed to sit the IPM’s first-level diploma exam but they were not eligible to become members.

The IPM’s membership has now voted to change the organisation’s constitution to allow nurses and allied health professionals to sit the next-level membership exam.
The institute is a registered charity that was founded in 1974 to provide training in psychosexual medicine for qualified medical practitioners.
