Five boys arrested after stabbing in Hastings Old Town

FIVE boys have been arrested after a man was airlifted to hospital following a suspected stabbing Hastings. Emergency services were called to George Street at 6.10pm yesterday after reports that a man had been assaulted. The man in his thirties was taken by air ambulance to the Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton for treatment for a single stab wound. He is now in stable condition. Police have arrested three boys on suspicion of wounding with intent and two boys on suspicion of grievous bodily harm with intent. They all remain in custody at this time. Pictures taken from the scene show officers examining the site, including a bike that can be seen lying on the street.

Two people have died in a serious multi-vehicle crash on a major Sussex road Saturday, 1st May 2021, 1:18 pm Police said the collision happened on the A27 eastbound near the Ashcombe roundabout in Lewes at around 10.20pm on Friday (30 April). A spokesman added: “The collision involved a black Audi S5, a silver Audi TT and a silver Ford transit van. “The occupants of the Audi S5, a 39-year-old man from Lewes and a 33-year-old man from Brighton, were taken to the Royal Sussex County Hospital, Brighton, where they later died as a result of the injuries sustained. Next of kin have been informed.”

APPEAL A27 CRASH FALMER TO LEWES LAST NIGHT. TWO men have been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving after a horror crash on the A27. Sussex Police was called over the incident near the Ashcombe roundabout at Lewes at 10.20pm on Friday night (April 30). The crash involved a black Audi S5, a silver Audi TT and a silver Ford Transit van. Two people died in the crash. They were in the black Audi, and were initially taken to the Royal Sussex County Hospital where they later died of their injuries. The police said their next of kin have been told.
