Some of the 344 schoolboys kidnapped in Katsina State by suspected bandits and released on Thursday, six days later have recounted their experiences in the den of the kidnappers.
The pupils were kidnapped last Friday from the Government Science Secondary School in Kankara. Boko Haram had on Tuesday claimed responsibility for the kidnapping though some government officials had refuted the claim that the terrorist group was involved in the mass abduction.

The All Progressives Congress (APC) Caretaker/ Extra ordinary Convention Planning Committee, has pleaded with Nigerians not to lose faith in the present administration over its claim that it was on top of the scary security challenge facing the country.
The plea was sequel to last week abduction of hundreds of students of Government Science Secondary School Kankara in Katsina State, most of whom were let off the hook on Thursday by their captives.
A week before the abduction, over 76 farmers were slaughtered in Zabarmari, a town in North East Borno State by the terror gang, Boko Haram.
Yobe State governor and Chairman of the CECPC, Mai Mala Buni, in a statement he personally signed admitted that the students’ abduction was a national embarrassment but assured Nigerians that it won’t happen again.

President Muhammadu Buhari was upbeat yesterday when he met with the returnee Kankara boys at the Government House, Katsina, and reiterated his determination to provide security for all in Nigeria.
The schoolboys were abducted when gunmen stormed their school, Government Science Secondary School, Kankara, Katsina State, on December 11.
The president, who spoke in Hausa, was excted by the rescue of the schoolboys within six days and congratulated the children for their safe return.
He stressed that the government would continue to improve the nation’s security system.
