Government of Maharashtra on the occasion of Ramadan Eid on May 13, the vaccination at all centers in Thane city will be closed and citizens are requested to register.
On Wednesday, the city saw a spike of 409 cases as against 290 cases on Tuesday and 388 cases on Monday.
However, eight people also lost their lives. The overall toll count stands at 1,784. Whereas, 746 people were discharged today and with this, the cumulative recoveries have reached 1,18,612. The active cases too have come down to 4,806. The recovery rate stands at 94.7 per cent.

MUMBAI: Over 70,000 people across India dialled a mental health helpline in the last financial year, indicating the profound impact that the Covid-19 pandemic and the lockdown has had on people s psychological state.
The Mpower helpline, which has an ongoing tie-up with the Government of Maharashtra and the BMC, received maximum calls from people between 26 to 40 years of age. Besides employees of corporate groups, teachers and farmers also sought help for mental health issues.
Psychiatrists recounted a case where a man in his mid-twenties reached out to the helpline with increasing depressive thoughts. He was finding it difficult to overcome a heartbreak. Trapped at home during lockdown and conflict with family made him feel suicidal. He was advised medication and psychotherapy.

In light of the latest developments in the ongoing pandemic situation, Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport (CSMIA) has decided to re-consolidate all domestic passenger flights currently operating via Terminal 1.
From April 21, all international as well as domestic flight operations will be handled from Terminal 2. Passengers of
